Rahat Ahmad
Rahat Ahmad is a member of the Board of Directors of Ikram – Foundation for Empowerment of Muslim Women. She brings a wealth of experience as a volunteer in the Northern Virginia Muslim community for over 35 years in various capacities. Rahat is formerly a Microbiologist with a Master’s degree and spent years as the Head of Microbiology Department at St. Joseph’s Women’s College in Karachi, Pakistan.
Rahat has been dedicated to the growth and development of the Muslim community through her involvement in ADAMS Center (All Dulles Area Muslim Society) from its earliest stages. She previously served on the ADAMS Health Sub-Committee. Currently, she leads the ADAMS Tuesday Sisters’ Group. She remains active in providing lectures, participating in discussions on the Quran, and assisting with numerous events that provide benefits to the Muslim community as well as other charitable causes. She is an active member of ICNA and serves on the Board of Directors of The Ahmad Foundation.
